![]() One by one, the Teletubbies (starting with the "Boo" shouter, usually Tinky Winky) walk up to the top of the Tubbytronic Superdome and say “Bye-Bye” before jumping into the hole. Then, the Sun Baby sets in the sky as a female voiceover in the UK version (Rolf Saxon in the U.S.A/PBS version where he is also the narrator for) says, "The sun is setting in the sky. This is the same thing as the first time, but the Teletubbies are serious and obey this time. When the narrator says "Bye-bye" to the Teletubbies again, the Teletubbies theme plays again (this time with more instruments and in E Major). The narrator (in hopes the Teletubbies are going to obey this time) decides to try that again. The Teletubbies at first have not been listening. However, the narrator catches them and says a big, long "No" (which the Teletubbies respond and giggle again) to clarify that " Tubby Bye Bye" is not a game, and it's really time to say goodbye.Īt the next moment, the Sun Baby giggles again. The show (at second sight) seems to go on again as the Teletubbies think that " Tubby Bye Bye" is a game. A random Teletubby (usually Tinky-Winky) says "Boo!" (followed by the others who say it too) and the Teletubbies happily giggle and try to get their show going on/playing again. Thinking that no one is in sight, the Teletubbies then try to get to having the show go on again (and avoid having to say goodbye) by outsmarting the sequence. With the Teletubbies "gone", the show (at first sight), seems to be over, until the Teletubbies silently giggle. The narrator (Rolf Saxon in the USA/PBS version and Tim Whitnall in the UK, Canada, and Australia versions) says "Bye-Bye" (to name of Teletubby in order) as the Teletubbies duck behind the hills. When the sequence starts, an instrumental version of the Teletubbies theme plays (on a piano, a glockenspiel, and in C major). However, they sadly start to groan because they don't want to say goodbye. The Teletubbies (seen standing behind hills), they stop playing and listen to the announcement (by the voice trumpets) "put away their activities" and get ready for " Tubby Bye Bye" because it's time to end the show. A male voice announcer for the UK, Canada, and Australian, and other foreign language versions (female for the USA/PBS and Canada version) from the voice trumpet soon announces that it is "time for Tubby Bye Bye" three times. The scene cuts to the Voice Trumpet area, where a voice trumpet rises in front of the Teletubbies. There are two things that signify the start of Tubby Bye Bye, like when The Magic Windmill stops spinning, even if there's no new segments or the Sun Baby giggles, unless that would move on to another scene. Tubby Bye-Bye is the ending sequence that wraps up all episodes of Teletubbies. ![]()
